The Following Government Departments and Agencies have Approved FITSI Certifications:
Department of Defense - 8140 Program
The Department of Defense (DoD) has approved FITSI certifications for inclusion in the DoD 8140 program, marking a significant milestone in the recognition of FITSI's commitment to cybersecurity excellence. This approval aligns FITSI's certifications with the DoD's strategic objectives to cultivate a skilled and knowledgeable cybersecurity workforce capable of addressing the dynamic challenges in the cyber domain. The DoD 8140 program serves as a comprehensive framework for classifying, training, and qualifying cybersecurity personnel across the DoD, ensuring that they possess the requisite competencies and skills aligned with their roles and responsibilities. FITSI's certifications, recognized under this program, provide service members, reservists, and civilian personnel within the DoD with valuable pathways for professional development and credentialing, directly linked to their military training and operational experience. This integration of FITSI certifications into the DoD 8140 program underscores the value of these certifications in promoting cybersecurity workforce professionalization and readiness, further facilitating access to essential training, resources, and credentialing opportunities critical for advancing cybersecurity capabilities within the Department of Defense.
