Information Assurance Engineer, Senior Staff

Lockheed Martin, a leader in delivering services and technical leadership for mission-critical federal government, public sector, and private sector, is seeking to hire an exceptional Information Assurance Engineer.

This career opportunity requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.

The Security officer ensures that the Information Security programs comply with the Government’s Information Assurance (IA) security requirements, including the evaluation and resolution of new Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), successful Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process compliance, and the completion of IA reporting requirements. The person will be responsible for ensuring that the program complies with the Government's IA security requirements. The Security Officer will guide the production support team to assess the impacts of each vulnerability as they are identified by the Government, develop and implement a patching plan, and document all findings in formal monthly reports.

Required Experience:

- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
- Federal IT Security Professional Certified.
- ITIL V3 Certification.
