Exam Details

There are four distinct exams that map to the four certification roles of FITSP.  Each exam is computer based and consists of 150 multiple choice questions.  The exams deal with subjects and themes found in the six FITSP domains based upon the respective certification role (Manager, Designer, Operator or Auditor).

The cost for each exam is $295 and can be taken at any exam proctored site. The passing score required is 75%. Candidates who do not successfully pass the exam the first time are able to take the same FITSP role based exam a second time at a 50% discount.

Proctored roughly once a quarter in a number of locations across the United States, FITSI hosts the exams and provides the facility and equipment.

Two time slots are available on an exam date.  The exams are given from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
